PushPull++: Model Geometry and Attributes at Once
📜 Abstract
In this paper, we tackle the challenge of specifying geometry and attributes in separate steps by proposing PushPull++. This approach allows the user to directly combine attribute editing with shape deformation using a single set of design constraints expressed as gradients. In addition, we incorporate many types of constraints into an optimization framework that supports handle-based surface editing. The resulting system enables simultaneous geometry and attribute editing in real-time and allows for precise control over the desired edits with a simple and intuitive user interface. We validate our method on a variety of scenes and demonstrate its effectiveness through comparisons and applications. Our rethinking of geometry and attribute editing through the unified push-pull paradigm shows versatility and usability for digital content creation.
